Pebbles on the beach..... Catching stunning displays of natural light always feels like a matter of luck. I waited on the beach for 30 minutes around sunset this night with heaps of cloud texture and not much light. I had given up and was walking back up the stairs when the light suddenly began to shift and brighten. I dropped my bag and ran back down to find a good vantage point on the sand. I got roughly 8 minutes of light and color before it was gone and on a whim, laid down in the pebbles. Sometimes you get lucky....
