A striking piece of surf art / wall art, this simple surf art is created from a reclaimed surfboard fin found amongst the sand, surf and reef that are lovingly, carefully and creatively dipped into paint, then gently pressed to paper in order to create a one of a kind impression. A modern interpretation of the ancient art form Gyotaku. This print would be the perfect gift for a surfer, or for a beach themed room.

Each piece of art is hand made, one of a kind and truly original. The colors in this fin were inspired by a recent surf trip to an outer reef that rarely breaks. Deep water leads into a vibrant and shallow reef system.

The art piece is an 11 x 14 print on Acid Free, 184 lb. 300 g/m2, Vellum paper. All paint is acrylic with a combination, of matte, gloss, satin and metallic finishes.
